Description:

The ocean isn't the only place for swimming near Malibu. This secluded place in the mountains separating the Pacific from the San Fernando Valley has a great swimming hole. You'll start your hike going west on Crags Road which is just past the ranger station. You can also see the filming location for MASH on the way - a sign will point you in that direction if you wish. Otherwise, continue the rest of the way to the pool. If you want more privacy, try heading out early in the morning on weekdays.
