While Northern California may be known as "wine country" parts of Los Angeles are making a name for themselves in this craft. Nestled in the mountains that separate the coastline from Thousand Oaks is an idyllic vineyard where you can sample the wares while being escorted in a vehicle around the farm. There are zebras, alpacas, and even a giraffe named Stanley. Even if you don't drink wine, you will still enjoy your visit - they provide homemade lemonade for the teetotalers!
