Marine War Memorial

In Castaways Park high above the bay, this easy stop has free parking and great views. Artist Benjamin Victor designed the memorial, which was dedicated in 2008. It honors the Marines of the 1st Battalion which was founded in 1930 and has fought in every major conflict since then.
