Mark Olivier's Yard Art

Mark Olivier, a carpenter who transformed himself into a self-taught sculptor, has been crafting an extraordinary exhibition from discovered items since 2005. He scours the Albany Bulb and other shorelines for debris, predominantly plastic, that's been washed up. After bringing the debris home, he meticulously arranges it into boxes and bins before using his creativity to transform the rubbish into exquisite animals, masks, figures, and machines.
