Description:

The country's second-largest memorial dedicated to Martin Luther King, Jr. is a monumental sculptural fountain named Revelation. It showcases engraved quotes from Dr. King and was created by sculptor Houston Conwill, poet Estella Majoza, and architect Joseph De Pace in 1993. This massive memorial spans 50 feet in width and 20 feet in height, accompanied by a reflective pool that holds 120,000 gallons of water. As water cascades from the pool and flows over a granite walkway, it drowns out the noise of the city and creates a serene tunnel-like atmosphere where visitors can meditate on the inspiring messages of Dr. King.
