Matilija Creek Trail

Family-friendly, dog friendly, and brimming with gorgeous scenery, this river walk is a nice way to spend a Saturday or Sunday with friends and family. Be prepared for an invigorating trek - this trail is an out and back route lasting almost 9 miles. To get there take Hwy 101 to Hwy 33 North to Matilija Canyon Road, then drive to the Forest Service gate. (Submitted by Otilia Baker)
