Description:

Not only is it beautiful, but this garden also serves an educational purpose. Named after a noted American botanist, it's an outdoor classroom and research facility to UCLA students and staff, promoting botanical knowledge and environmentalism. The perfect L.A. climate fosters the growth of tropical and subtropical plants such as ferns, palms, eucalyptus, and figs. There is no admission fee for the garden, although you might have to pay for parking. The garden is located near UCLA Parking Structure 2 on Hilgard Ave.
