Mildred Howard Frame

A surreal, giant, Rococo-style frame provides an elegant arch over a pathway. The "picture" is a great view of Hunter's Point Naval Shipyard as well as East Bay and San Francisco. Mildred Howard was an African-American artist who started her career in performing arts as a dancer. She is known for her sculptures and mixed-media ensembles.
