Miles C. Bates House

Known as the Miles C. Bates "Wave" House for its curving roof reminiscent of the nearby San Jacinto mountains, this mid-century home, originally designed by Walter S. White, opened to the public in February 2020 after meticulous restoration by Stayner Architects. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the one-bedroom standalone residence features an outdoor cedar soaking tub with temperature control, a spacious king-size bed, and two bathrooms equipped with refreshing rain showers. Constructed in 1955, the dwelling stands as a testament to architectural preservation and craftsmanship.
