Mirlo Gate Lodge Tower

Architect Clarence E. Howard drew upon his knowledge of ancient stone masonry to inspire his gate tower where the guard for Palos Verdes Estates would stand. In 1926 the two-story tower was built and included amenities such as a fireplace, bedroom, and fully-equipped bathroom. It's also available for rent - so if you think you'd like to have a quasi-medieval experience, apply for tenancy!
