Description:

The famed Fr. Junipero Serra founded this mission in 1772. It was one of the nine that he would build in California. It's not the biggest, but it's kept in great condition and it makes for a nice place to read or meditate. Better still, you can bring your leashed dog! Take the 101 straight to San Luis Obispo and exit Old Garden Creek. The mission will be located right off the highway.
