Mission Soledad is a historic Spanish mission located in Soledad, CA. It was founded by Father Fermin Francisco de Lasuen in 1791 as the 13th of the 21 California missions established by the Spanish Franciscans. Today, Mission Soledad is a state historic park and a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can tour the mission's ruins, including the chapel, cemetery, and portions of the adobe walls as well as the museum and gift shop. The mission is also used for special events such as concerts and weddings.
