Monarch Butterfly Grove

This Pismo Beach butterfly haven is one of five sites in the entire state where the monarch is known to migrate through. It sees over 10,000 of these brightly winged insects come through between late October through February. Plan your trip during this period of time as the grove is closed the rest of the year. On weekends docents lead tours and host talks about monarch butterflies. To get there take CA State Hwy 1 to Pismo Beach.
