Montebello Barnyard Zoo

Located in a big park, this petting zoo has pony rides, a train ride, and a small carousel. For a little extra money you can buy some bags of food for the animals. While they do have the typical barnyard goats and ponies they also have a resident zebra and a few swans. For a family on a budget this is one of the most value-packed outings to be enjoyed near Los Angeles.
