Montezuma Valley Road Lookout

If you're looking for a scenic drive, this is the destination for you. Named for the Aztec emperor of Mexico this lookout gives you a view of the surrounding Anza-Borrego Desert landscape. On a clear day you can catch a glimpse of the Salton Sea. In the late winter/early spring desert wildflowers and butterflies flourish. Still, even without the extras this is a favorite daytrip for locals especially motorcyclists.
