Description:

Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, California is a historic roller skating rink housed in a repurposed World War II-era airplane parts factory at 5110 San Fernando Road. It opened in the 1950s as Harry’s Roller Rink before being bought and renamed Moonlight Rollerway in 1968 when the owners of the Pasadena location expanded here; long-time organist Dominic Cangelosi purchased it in 1985 and has maintained its classic vibe ever since. The rink’s original 2¼-inch maple floor and nostalgic atmosphere have made it a beloved community landmark for generations of skaters. Over the decades it has also been featured in films, TV shows, and music videos, preserving its place in Southern California’s cultural history.
