Morro Bay State Park Boardwalk

Morro Bay State Park area offers many activities, but a favorite is the Boardwalk. This 0.8-mile boardwalk trail will take you through the forest and into mixed environments. On the course you'll have views of Morro Rock and the bay and keep your eye out for birds, animals, and butterflies. The history of Morro Bay is well illustrated with informational display signs along the boardwalk. Observe fishermen with their catches and boat activity and examine the shops and their merchandise. Then have a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in the area to complete the day. You can visit Morro Bay State Park between sunrise and sunset, year-round. The boardwalk is located on the south side of the marina, directly across the Morro Bay State Park campgrounds. The road here changes its name - from town it's called "Country Club Drive" and from the east side "State Park Road."
