Description:

Mount Baldy, also known as Mount San Antonio, is one of the most popular and challenging hiking destinations in Southern California. The Devil's Backbone Trail is a scenic and exhilarating route to the summit of Mount Baldy, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The 14-mile out-and-back trail begins on Falls Rd. before turning into Baldy Rd. and eventually Devil's Backbone Trail. The trail quickly becomes steep and narrow with steep drop-offs on either side, so hikers should be prepared for a challenging and potentially dangerous trek. Along the way don't forget to take a pitstop at the San Antonio Falls, you won't be disappointed. An adventure pass is required for parking.
