Mount Soledad Cross

This cross has been the subject of lawsuits for over 20 years, due to the fact that it sits on the site of a Korean War memorial (church and state, gotta keep ‘em separated). Mount Soledad is worth seeing, whatever way you feel about the cross controversy. Mount Soledad’s varied terrain makes it a great cycling location, and Dr. Seuss once lived here, so you know it’s bitchin’.
