Description:

Inspired by emperor Shah Jahan's Taj Mahal, this temple was built by an Indian immigrant by the name of Akhoy Kumar Azumdar. While the Christian symbols, as well as the name emblazoned on the front of the building - Temple of Christ - might throw you off, the background is that Azumdar converted to Christianity some time after his 1903 arrival in the U.S. The temple is not open to the public so take care not to trespass on the property.
