Description:

Founded in 1927, this historic rose garden has more than 3,500 shrubs of over 180 varieties. The well-tended plants make this one of the most relaxing, colorful, and scent-infused places in San Jose. It's also free and convenient to get to! The garden is open year-round from 8 AM to sunset but the best time to go is in May when the blooms are at their most fragrant.
