Description:
Japanese artist Luise Ono brings a little bit of Hawaii to an L.A. county city. She's based in Tokyo, but thought that the flora of the Hawaiian islands would fit in beautifully. The flowers in this mural include alstroemeria, lilium auratum, crocus, and the blanket flower. Ms. Ono states, "Each flower has a flower word and it is continuation, fun, life, memories, unity, and admiration for the future."
