Description:

Installed in 2013 in the California Wine Country this memorial garden makes use of 30 tons of steel from the wreckage of the Twin Towers. Artist Gordon Huether considers this project as one of his most meaningful. The beams are connected with glass panels which encase the names of the 2,997 people who died in the World Trade Center on 9/11. LED lights embedded all around the garden allow people to visit and reflect in the evening hours, too.
