Natural Bridges Monarch Trail

Within the borders of Natural Bridges State Beach is a butterfly preserve which is known to be a popular destination for traveling monarchs. Starting in October thousands of monarchs migrate from up north and roost in this preserve leaving some time in January or February. In 2016, around 8,000 butterflies made this grove their temporary winter home. Hours are from 8 AM to sunset daily.
