Natural Bridges State Beach

It is one of the best vantage points in Santa Cruz for observing marine life. Whales, sea otters, seals, and shore birds live or migrate through this area. There are also stunning rock formations along the beach and jutting upwards out of the coastal waters. Several hiking trails and a bicycle path give you other options besides sunbathing and swimming especially in the cooler months. This state beach is open every day from 8 AM to sunset but the visitor center is open from 10 AM to 4 PM.
