Nike Missile Site LA-43

Along the Grassland Loop Trail in San Pedro, you'll find the remains of Nike Missile Site LA-43. You can clearly see the double launch doors, the checkpoint building, and the skeleton of the missile assembly building. The main building has been converted into the White Point Nature Education Center and is worth a stop if you'd like to learn about the native plants in the area. Lastly, all the trails are dog friendly, so don't forget to bring your pup!
