Old Mission San Jose

Old Mission San Jose, the 14th in California, was founded in 1797 by the Franciscan order. Some of the buildings such as the Gothic-style church were constructed in the 19th century after a 6.7 earthquake. You can choose between a guided or a self-guided tour of the museum (which was once the living quarters of the clergy), the restored adobe church, cemetery, and patio garden.
