Old Mission Santa Ines 1804

Founded in 1804 this mission was named after St. Agnes, one of the virgin martyrs venerated by the Catholic Church. A tour of the grounds will take you through an active parish that is beautifully maintained. You can explore the art, architecture, and history of the indigenous Chumash as well as the Spanish missionaries.
