Also dubbed "El Cholo Spanish Cafe," the Original El Cholo has been serving Angelenos Mexican food since 1923. It's also credited with introducing the time-tested burrito to the United States. It's been family run since it opened and Ron Salisbury, the grandson of the founders, has taken the reins. For Mexican food lovers this place is a must. Everything you could possibly want is on the menu from enchiladas to handmade tortillas to aged cheese quesadillas.
