Original Del Taco Historic Site

In 1964, Ed Hackbarth and David Jameson opened up the first Del Taco. The menu was pretty simple - tacos, tostadas, fries, and cheeseburgers. The fast-food restaurant's success took off and, by 2008, opened its 500th restaurant. Still, this original restaurant is where it started and it remains in operation, but as the Burger Den.
