Oroville Dam

Saves: 2
Check-ins: 2
About 75 miles north of Sacramento is the tallest dam in the U.S. at 770 feet high. It also forms Lake Oroville, the second largest manmade lake in California which can store more than a trillion gallons of water. To get great views, go to the observation tower located a short distance from the dam on Kelly Ridge Rd. You also have your choice of nature trails - either the Bidwell Canyon Trail or the Dan Beebe Trail. (Submitted by Scott Allen)

It was an intense drive across the dam. The views were worth it though. If your in the Chico area, it’s worth the drive to check it out
Views were awesome.
