The Packsaddle Cave hike is a 5-mile out-and-back trail in Kernville, CA. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 3.5 hours to complete. To get to the trail, park in the lot just north of the Fairview Campground off of Mountain Hwy 99. This is a dog-friendly trail.
