Description:
A group of large rocks are individually painted by visiting military units to the nearby Fort Irwin. It's been a tradition to emblazon the rock faces with the insignias of the units. To get there expect an almost 40-mile drive down Fort Irwin Road. (Submitted by @robyns_travel_adventures)
