Description:
Patrick Amiot doesn't mind calling his work "junk art." It's his way of describing the materials he uses for his unique projects - used hubcaps, water heaters, and other landfill cast-offs get new life in Amiot's hands. After he finishes the sculpture, Brigitte Laurent paints them with a skilled hand. While their main work is showcased in Sebastopol, one of their most famous pieces - a carousel - is on display in Ontario, Canada.
