Description:

Patrick's Roadhouse has an exceptional and captivating history that began in 1973. The restaurant's origins were humble, having been constructed from an abandoned red car passenger depot that had briefly served as a hot dog stand. Despite the less-than-ideal circumstances, founder Bill Fischler had a vision and painted the entire building a vibrant mossy green, complete with a flashy shamrock theme. Originally dubbed Patrick's Place, it soon became one of Santa Monica's most popular diners, renowned for its 1940s-inspired ambiance, delectable burgers, and welcoming staff. Eventually, the establishment evolved into Patrick's Roadhouse, a beloved institution in the area.
