PISMO BEACH Sign

Central Coast is where the real surfing is with its great waves and uncrowded beaches. A light-up sign with huge capital letters was installed in 2020 as a way to draw more attention to this highly underrated section of California's long coastline. Each 6 1/2-foot tall letter is free-standing and radiates a different hue. The sign is a welcome addition to a series of improvements that include Airstream concession stands and a multi-colored whale-themed playground. (Submitted by Roger Eric)
