Description:
The first lighthouse was built in 1877, but the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 damaged it beyond repair. In 1908, the second lighthouse, a more modern, sleek design, was first lit. It's 115 feet tall with a focal height of 155 feet. It makes an appearance in two movies: "Forever Young" (1992) and "Need for Speed" (2014). The lighthouse has a gift shop and museum and is open every day from 10 AM to 3:30 PM. Admission fee is $5 per person over 12.
