Point Bonita Lighthouse

First lit in 1877 this lighthouse stands 127 feet above sea level. It's located on a craggy boulder jutting out from the middle of the ocean accessible via a walking bridge. It is open to the public but only for limited hours on Sundays. Call ahead or visit the website to make sure the lighthouse is open before you visit. (Submitted by Gina Carlos)
