Prager Winery & Port Works

Established in 1979 by Jim and Imogene Prager, Prager Winery and Port Works in St. Helena, Napa Valley, embodies Jim's dream of winemaking sparked during a 1974 Napa vacation. Initially producing 120 cases in the historic 1865 carriage house, the winery, now managed by the second generation, has expanded to almost 4000 cases. Specializing in world-class fortified wines, Prager offers diverse ports, late harvest Riesling, and Petite Sirah. Some wines bear the names of the Pragers' grandchildren. The family ensures a welcoming atmosphere in their intimate tasting room, guiding visitors through tastings of their top-quality, small-lot wines.
