Description:

Priest Station, now in its sixth generation of family ownership, has a fascinating history. Originally a miner's supply store, it transformed into a renowned stagecoach stop and hotel complex under the Priests' ownership. A fire in 1926 destroyed everything except the well, but a new house and cabins were added later. After changing hands multiple times, the property was re-acquired in 2007 by the Anker Family, descendants of the original Priest Family founders spanning the fourth, fifth, and sixth generations. After extensive renovations, Priest Station Cafe reopened in August 2009, welcoming visitors with its refreshed charm and historical significance.
