Quail Run Ostrich Ranch

It's a working ostrich ranch where you can pet and feed these giant flightless birds as well as hold and buy one of their huge eggs (each is $40). Modern day descendants of dinosaurs, you will learn a lot about ostriches in addition to the hands-on experience. Camping on the grounds is allowed at an additional cost. A day visit is $5 per adult for admission which includes a 30-minute tour. Go north on Lake Hughes Rd from the I-5. You'll stay on Lake Hughes Rd for about 20 miles and then turn left on Pine Canyon Rd. Approximately one mile up the road, you'll see the ranch on our right-hand side. Cell reception is spotty so plan your trip before you head out.
