Railroad Car Houseboat

Perhaps the MOST quirky of the many unique floating homes at the docks of Sausalito is the so-called “Train Wreck” houseboat which started out life as an actual railway car that rolled along the Northern Pacific. The owners turned the passenger section into their dining room and the old baggage section functions as their bathroom and laundry room. It’s definitely a sight worth seeing.
