Perfect for kids of all ages and those at all interested in reptiles, the Reptile Zoo is part retail shop, part zoo and located just 20 minutes from Disneyland. The 10,000-square-foot facility is packed with 100+ exotic and rare reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids including a 12-foot Burmese Python (snap a pic with him for $8), Green Anaconda, Water Cobra, a 60-pound Asian Water Monitor, a 300-pound White Reticulated Python, and a 100-pound African Spur Thigh Tortoise. There's also a popular display aptly named "Gator Island" containing a 150-pound American Alligator and a 2,000-gallon indoor pond. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 kids, and toddlers (0-3) are free; there's a slight discount on weekdays. Hands-on opportunities, daily feedings, and educational presentations are aplenty.
