Samuelson Rocks

Another one of those unique Joshua Tree attractions that you won't find on any of the park maps. Samuelson Rocks are a series of boulders with words of wisdom carved into them by early homesteader John Samuelson in the 1920s. It's a little tricky finding the rocks because there isn't an official trail so we suggest you plug the below coordinates into Google Maps before you make the trip, save an offline version, and use that to find the location.
