Description:
Across Thornhill Broome Beach in Point Mugu is a massive sand dune. "What exactly is a sand dune?" you ask. According to the eminent internet source Wikipedia, it is a giant windblown conglomeration of sand. While the dune itself might be a bit monochrome and unnoticeable against the azure backdrop of sea and sky, the drive to get there is always exhilarating. The sand dune is also a habitat for specific species of flora and fauna. Take a day off and travel up (or down) the famous PCH to get there.
