Description:
The hike begins just after the entrance of the Thomas Aquinas College where visitors can park their vehicles and embark on a roughly 6.7-mile out-and-back trek to reach the Punch Bowls. The trail meanders through picturesque landscapes, including oak woodlands, chaparral-covered hillsides, and seasonal wildflowers, providing hikers with a diverse and beautiful natural setting. One of the highlights of the Santa Paula Punch Bowls hike is the series of natural pools known as the "Punch Bowls." These crystal-clear swimming holes are formed by the cascading waters of Santa Paula Creek. Please note, the trail also has a few creek crossings so be prepared to get wet.
