Description:

The pioneering period started in the late 1800s, thus prompting the need for a depot and train station. This historic depot was built in 1804 and a small community sprang up. One could make the case that modern day Simi Valley with its large residential developments is rooted in the success of those pioneering days. The museum is renowned for its to-scale miniature Simi Valley as it existed in the 1950s.
