The winery's approach focuses on quality and unique winemaking, rooted in Fred's artisan vineyard methods. Located in the Spring Mountain District Appellation, their vineyards benefit from a special micro-climate, avoiding morning fog and allowing for sunlight exposure. With meticulous practices and four types of volcanic soil, Schweiger produces dark red wines with intense flavors. Notably, their dry-farming technique enables grapevine roots to reach 25 feet deep, ensuring access to water and nutrients for quality grape production.
