Description:
Litter that was once shards of glass from broken bottles used for medicine, soda, beer, and liquor now is prized and sought after. This museum houses the world's largest collection of the smoothed, frosted glass pebbles - over 3,000 pieces on display. It opened its doors in 2009, founded by Captain Cass Forrington. The museum also has a gift shop with pretty pieces of jewelry made from the rare and unique beach finds. The museum is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
