Shafer Vineyards

Since 1880, Shafer Vineyards has played a significant role in grape growing and winemaking in Napa Valley. It was a key player during Napa Valley's initial rise as a prominent American wine region. The pioneering vintners from Napa not only supplied San Francisco's wine cellars but also shipped their wines nationwide, receiving gold medals at the 1889 Paris Exposition. Currently, Elias Fernandez marks 40 harvests on the property, and Shafer Vineyards stands out as one of Napa Valley's renowned historic wineries. Year after year, it consistently produces wines that create delightful and memorable experiences worldwide.
